If you happen to browse through old Albatros Ristorazione photo albums, back when digital technology didn't exist and photos were printed as customer catalogs, you'll discover diverse event formats and motivations that inspired unforgettable celebrations. And those that simply didn't exist as emphatically as the legendary 18th birthday.
Basically, we realize that the occasions for celebration are varied. And the motivations even more so: we reunite with people, think of seniors, who will soon pass away and who make that last encounter precious; or we celebrate that event that will remain unique, like a diploma, a degree, a retirement. There's both seriousness and humor in many occasions: think, for example, of the end-of-hunting parties, where screaming hunters of all ages gather to cook the delicious prey; or the spectacular awards ceremonies, be they sports, culture, music, or literature, sometimes featuring illustrious figures, where making a good impression is a must.
We have celebrations tied to weddings and anniversaries, sometimes civil, sometimes religious or symbolic: a classic no one wants to miss out on, even if they find themselves celebrating a second rite.
The beauty and joy of a family birth gives rise to moving baptisms, followed by communions and confirmations: we are part of the religious tradition of these lands, warming the hearts of young and old alike. Today, we also hear about baby showers and gender reveals, for exchanging gifts or revealing the baby's sex by surprise. In this corner of Tuscany, they aren't yet widespread, but you never know. We certainly don't find them in the vintage albums of our Albatros Ristorazione events, because they are very recent.
How times change, here's another example. Today, turning 18 has become an important moment to be celebrated lavishly, with a rich buffet, toasts, dancing, and so on. Young people today have many ideas inspired by social media, they follow trends, and they even compete a bit in customs and traditions for their events. It's right to please them with solutions that have something unique and original that will have a wow effect.
