Winter Wedding

Winter marriage has recently become a coveted and sought-after choice. The atmosphere is the right one, after all: Christmas decorations that recall fairytale atmospheres, endless fantasy, refined plays of light and color that give the wedding an immediate romantic touch. It's true there won't be poppies and sunflowers or lavenders but all the shades from red, gold and silver, to snow white or other cold colors like indigo and ice add a winter warmth that smells like a crackling fireplace. Even winter brings its berries: from holly to mistletoe with a nuance of cinnamon, chestnuts and Scots pine: in short, nothing will make you miss the hot summer afternoons. Here in the province of Arezzo we have the Casentino mountains which, with a few sprinkles of snow and the incomparable Franciscan atmosphere of La Verna and Camaldoli, offer a winter picture of great poetry.
