At the end
Or as the Anglo-Saxons say "last but not least" we would like to say two things about the wedding cake. There are wedding cakes that are popular. Many couples bring their drawings and photos to our pastry shop inside Albatros Catering and blindly rely on the savoir faire of our pastry chefs: Valeria, Giulia and Massimo Pascucci
Here are the most popular cakes:
Flower cake: the floral cake with chantilly cream and sponge cake, covered with rich floral decorations. Sumptuous, baroque, very showy. Appreciated by guests, it enriches the symbolic moment of cake cutting by creating a happy end in the name of great beauty. Definitely appreciated also in taste especially because it is inspired by Italian high pastry
Italian Millefoglie Cake is the Italian cake for excellence. It is also our response to the American cake with glaze that did not meet our local palate. Millefoglie is the safe choice for those who do not want to bet on the guests' taste.
Fruit cake: it is the Italian cake, like puff pastry or sponge cake enriched by a rush of fruit. Red fruits or summer fruit depending on the season. Beautiful and good, needless to say.
Naked Cake: the tendency to create sponge cake tops that are only partially covered. Precisely naked cake. Much loved by foreigners
The demand for Anglo-Saxon butter cream cake is decreasing, which for our tastes is better suited to tea time than mariage. Also the glaze is always a source of curiosity especially for younger.
3d cake: it is the three-dimensional masterpiece that we are often asked for for baptisms, communions. It entails the highly artisanal creation of objects and figures, real installations, in favor of the applicant's artistic imagination. Our workers are also very good in these works of art in sugar and almond paste.
